1,016 closed trades, 2020 to 2026: 877 winning, 134 losing, 5 flat. Published closed results, including losses, are on the track record page.

Paper-tracked potential gains and losses, based on recorded option prices. Your trading results will depend on your own entry and exit. Past results do not guarantee future results.

How these figures are measured

Published percentages describe potential gains and losses on paper-tracked model positions. Every position we publish is a model position, tracked on paper against real delayed market quotes. We write alerts in the evening, while trading is closed. The entry is the recorded model entry, selected using the following trading day’s prices. Where no entry was recorded, the percentage is measured from the close before the alert, and the row says so. For model trades up to mid-July 2026, the exit is the exit price Ian recorded when the position closed. For model positions tracked since late July 2026, it is the highest price the option reached between entry and expiry, or the published 60 per cent stop, whichever came first. A position is recorded as a gain only if the option reached at least 20 per cent above the entry before the 60 per cent stop. If the stop came first, it is recorded at the stop. If it reached neither, it is recorded at its last price before expiry, or when the position closed. No member is claimed to have bought or sold at those prices. Best entry and peak exit prices are selected with hindsight; daily highs and lows alone do not establish their order within a session. A model stop does not guarantee an executable exit price. Losses appear beside wins. The figures exclude individual fills, fees, taxes and execution differences, and they show potential profit, never a return anyone received.

The person behind the research

Ian Harvey’s working desk

Ian has spent more than 30 years in options and has published trade research since 2009, under the Weekly Options USA banner since 2020.

He researches, writes and personally reviews every alert before it reaches members. You receive the same published research as other readers and make your own trading decisions.

Before you start

A clear offer.
Straight answers.

No fixed alert count or trading result is promised. The pass gives you time to evaluate the research and the way the desk works.

What will I pay, and when can I cancel?

$19 today for 14 days, once per account. On day 14, the pass becomes Monthly Membership. Your $19 counts toward $119, leaving $100 for your first month, then $119 monthly until canceled.

We email you three days before the first membership charge. Cancel before day 14 from your account and you are not charged again. Your pass still runs for the full 14 days. Pass payments are non-refundable.

What can I use straight away?
After payment, open the member area for current alerts, published research notes, the historical write-ups and included analysis and planning tools. New alerts and closing results arrive by email and in the member area during your access.
How many new trades will I see?
Ian publishes when a setup clears his research process. The number varies with market conditions, and a trade may remain open beyond your pass. You can explore the existing open alerts and historical research throughout the 14 days.
Do I need to watch the market all day?
Alerts arrive by email and in your member area with the contract and published entry, risk and exit guidelines. You decide whether and how to trade them with your broker. Options can move quickly; this service does not place or manage orders for you.
Is the Practice Lab included?
The Practice Lab is a separate course for practising on historical trades. It costs $49 once on its own. With full Monthly Membership or Trader’s Trio, the Lab is $49 $19 once, separate from membership charges. A pass alone does not qualify. Explore the Practice Lab →
Who is the pass for?
Options traders who understand the basics and want to assess Ian’s research before continuing with membership. It is an introductory offer, available once per account, and is not available to Australian residents. If you have used the pass before, review the full membership options.
Are these actual trading returns or personal advice?
No. Published positions are model positions tracked on paper using delayed quotes. The record shows potential results under the published methodology. Your own results depend on your entry, exit and costs. This is general research, not advice tailored to you; options can lose their entire value. Read the full disclosures.
